How to find us

The race headquarters for the Abingdon Marathon is located at Tilsley Park, on Dunmore Road, a mile north of the centre of Abingdon. The postcode for Satnav is OX14 1PU, and the ‘what three words’ link is ///guides.flock.alien.

By car

Tilsley Park is signed from all main roads approaching Abingdon. By car, you can access Dunmore Road in one of two ways:

• exit the A34 (southbound) at Abingdon north onto the A4183 (Oxford Road)

• from the B4017 (Wootton Road)

Please note there is no public parking at Tilsley Park - See Parking below for Car Parks

By bus or train

There are limited bus services from Oxford and Didcot early on Sunday morning. Visit the Oxford Bus Company website for up-to-date timetables.

The X1, X2 and X3 all come to Abingdon. The nearest stop for Tilsey Park on the X1 is Langley Road. For the X2 and X3, the nearest stop is Peachcroft Roundabout.

There are no train services to Abingdon, and nearby rail options are limited.

Parking

There is no parking at Tilsley Park on race day, so please follow the parking signs to the nearest available car park (see below). Parking facilities will be available from 7 am, and we will include full details in the race booklet.

Please do not park in residential areas near Tilsley Park.
